Hi Guys
Despite being a "rookie" NFL fan I have to say that I am totally addicted to football and already looking forward to my next fix! As a 49ers fan it was great being able to watch Sundays match live on TV, tho I would have loved to have gone but Sunday was my wedding anniversary..... The next best thing was being able to watch! The wife also watched and even admitted afterwards that she really enjoyed it & that next time it's on (at wembley) we should get tickets (result!!!)
Obviously I'm still getting to grips with all the rules and terminology but can't get enough of watching videos on line and reading all the latest news etc - also have to say that the across the pond forum has been great and I've really appreciated the fact that people have made me feel welcome especially as I'm a rookie!!!

Great to hear that you are enjoying the wonderful world of the NFL and that you've already had more success than me in persuading your other half to go next year. Have been trying for 6 years to get my other half to a game and she has continually refused!! Will even forgive you following the 49ers - not sure that us Vikings fans can be overly critical of anyone at the moment!!
Great result last weekend - looks like your boys are hitting form now....
Feel free to ask any questions, here or on Twitter - and for views, opinions and history lessons then check out some of our blogs on fiftystatefootball.com
Welcome to the NFL fraternity!!

Firstly, how posh are you with the ProBoards Mobile app? I might have to invest. Secondly me and Gaz put regular posts up on fiftystatefootball.com Feel free to check it out. Tomorrow we are stepping back into the history books of 1989.

Haha of all the things I thought people might call me on here, posh wasn't one of them! & Gaz I was as shocked as you buddy but not gonna argue (about going to wembley next year). Been watching the highlights from the Vikings game vs GB & was loving Patterson's return!

Hope you survived the 49ers bye week! Although there were certainly enough thrills and spills from the other games! Looked as though the Bucs were going to do your boys a favour at one point........
Feel free to join out fun predictions 'competition' - take a look at the thread!

Just about survived bye week haha I went to bed and the bucs were 21-0 up but I still knew the next morning I'd be waking up to bad news! It was good to watch as a neutral and not have to worry about my 49ers tho didn't expect that performance from Foles! Gonna try and get my predictions done tonight, although gotta watch the highlights from the Vikings victory last night yet....
